SECS B25 PERFORMER ANNO EZRAJORJA HEADER

Ezra Collective and Jorja Smith to perform!

The BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard today announces that Ezra Collective and special guest Jorja Smith are confirmed to perform on the show this coming Saturday night. 2023 Mercury Prize winners Ezra Collective are one of the most nominated artists at this year’s event, with the band up for a total of four awards (Mastercard Album of the Year, Group of the Year, Best New Artist, and Alternative/Rock Act), whilst Jorja is a previous BRITs winner and nominee (winner of the 2018 Rising Star, 2019 British Female Solo Artist and nominated in 2019 for Mastercard Album of the Year and Breakthrough Act).

They join previously announced artists JADE, Lola Young, Myles Smith, Sabrina Carpenter, Sam Fender, Teddy Swims and The Last Dinner Party, who will all take to the stage as part of the biggest night in British music celebrating the best of British and international talent on Saturday 1st March at The O2 arena, hosted by Jack Whitehall and broadcast exclusively on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.

Femi Koleoso, Ezra Collective said: “Honestly, the opportunity to play at the BRITs is so precious. I grew up watching the BRITs; I think about performances from Gorillaz and Skepta; and those moments, when I was sat as a teenager in my room, really were massive for me as wanting to become a musician. So I’m honoured to play, because it’s an honour, but I’m honoured that we get the opportunity to give this moment to the teenage versions of Ezra Collective that will be watching. Absolutely can’t wait to make you all dance on Saturday night. God bless you all, peace.”

Tomorrow night, Harriet Rose and Munya Chawawa will present The BRITs 2025: The Warm-Up on ITV2 from 9pm, providing exclusive access with special guests including JADE, Jack Whitehall, Danny Jones, Rachel Chinouriri and Confidence Man, ahead of the main show on Saturday 1st March.

It was announced earlier this week that Charli xcx is the recipient of the Songwriter of the Year award, whilst A. G. Cook takes home the Producer of the Year award. Sabrina Carpenter’s Global Success win was announced exclusively on the BRITs WhatsApp channel recently and she’ll be presented with the award on the night in recognition of her phenomenal global sales. It has also been revealed previously that Myles Smith is the winner of this year’s BRITs Rising Star award.

Ezra Collective have taken the world by storm over the past few years. The band’s latest album Dance, No One's Watching, nominated for Album of the Year, was written during a blistering 2023 which saw them tour the world and become the first jazz act to win the Mercury Prize. Dance, No One's Watching is a documentation of the many dance floors they encountered. From London to Chicago, Lagos to Sydney, dance and rhythm connects humanity and the band’s music is a testament to that spirit. Since releasing the album last year the band have continued to break barriers, becoming the first UK jazz band to be nominated for four BRITs (Album of the Year, Group of the Year, Best New Artist, Alternative/Rock Act), have an album in the Top 10 UK Album Chart, perform on the Radio 1 Live Lounge and feature in the BBC Sound Of.

Jorja Smith is no stranger to The BRITs, having won the 2018 Rising Star Award (formerly Critics’ Choice) and British Female Solo Artist in 2019 plus also securing nominations in 2019 for Album of the Year and British Breakthrough Act. Since bursting onto the scene in 2018 Jorja has collaborated with Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Stormzy, Burna Boy and more, and has been praised for her polished songwriting and delicate vocals.

Nominations for the 2025 BRIT Awards were announced last month via Bring on The BRITs with Mastercard: The 2025 Nominations, an exclusive livestream hosted by Sian Welby on the BRITs Instagram and Facebook. 2025 nominees include Billie Eilish, Central Cee, Chappell Roan, Charli xcx, Dua Lipa, Ezra Collective, JADE, Michael Kiwanuka, Rachel Chinouriri, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, The Beatles, The Cure and more.
