Flying the flag for British rap with three nominations are Young T & Bugsey, who are nominated for British Single and Breakthrough Artist, and will face The 1975, Little Mix, Bicep (also in Breakthrough Artist) and Biffy Clyro in the British Group category. For Bicep and Young T and Bugsey these mark their first ever BRIT nominations!
Little Mix are no stranger to a BRITs nomination after receiving nine nominations since 2017 and winning three. They have also treated us to three incredible performances through the years. They've had a successful 2020, including the release of their sixth studio album 'Confetti'.
The 1975 saw their 2020 album 'Notes On A Conditional Form' become their fourth consecutive album to top the UK Albums Chart as well as reaching No.1 in Australia and and No.4 in the US. Like Little Mix, The 1975 are also familiar with the BRITs stage having scooped up 3 awards and performed twice since 2017.
Biffy Clyro are yet to win a BRIT Award and have not been nominated since 2017, however this year the Scottish rock band are aiming for a win after seeing their 8th studio album 'A Celebration of Endings' enter at No.1 on the UK Charts making it their third consecutive to do so.
