Ed Sheeran's ‘X’ wins the MasterCard British Album of the Year

Ed Sheeran’s second studio album ‘X’ has won the MasterCard British Album at The BRIT Awards 2015.

Ed Sheeran’s ‘X’ took home the trophy over Alt-J’s ‘This Is All Yours’, George Ezra’s ‘Wanted On Voyage’, Royal Blood’s self-titled, and Sam Smith’s ‘In The Lonely Hour’.

Released in June 2014, ‘X’ peaked at No. 1 in both the UK Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200.
