BRITs Week 2015 presents... George Ezra
Four-times BRITs nominated singer songwriter George Ezra is to headline the Brixton Electric on Monday 16 February as part of BRITs Week 2015. The Sony Music UK event is the first of a string of label gigs showcasing the finest British talent across BRITS Week 2015.The No. 1 triple platinum selling act will headline the gig ahead of a completely sold out UK tour which includes a night at the larger Brixton Academy venue down the road a week later.
George will be supported by three of the label’s hotly-tipped emerging acts Nothing But Thieves, Josef Salvet and Seafret.
BRITs Week, a joint partnership between the BPI and AEG and made possible with support from London First, is a series of special one-off gigs and events taking place in London in celebration of the most prestigious night in the UK music calendar, The BRIT Awards 2015. It was announced earlier this week that Take That are to headline the War Child BRIT Awards Concert on 23 February, which is curated by Universal Music UK (tickets go on sale today from 9am), with Royal Blood headlining the Warner Music UK night at KOKO on 17 February. George Ezra is up for an incredible four awards at this year’s BRITs: British Male Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act, British Single and MasterCard British Album of the Year and will perform live at The BRIT Awards 2015, which take place at The O2 in London on Wednesday 25 February and will be broadcast live on ITV.
