Paul Epworth wins BRITs 2013 British Producer of the Year

Paul Epworth was presented with the BRIT Award for best British producer at the MPG Awards 2013 on Thursday 7th February 2013. Epworth also won the gong for UK Producer of the Year at this year's event which was held within London’s Cafe de Paris.

BPI Chairman, Tony Wadsworth CBE, on presenting the Award:
“Paul Epworth is becoming one of the most influential Producers of our time and the BRITs are proud to be recognising his phenomenal talent with a BRIT Award this evening.”

The MPG prize recognised Epworth’s work on Florence And The Machine’s second album Ceremonials.
“I knew Paul was the only producer I wanted to work with on Ceremonials,” said Florence Welch. “His innovation and passion are constantly inspiring, and I am grateful to have worked with him on an album that I am so proud of.”

There were a total of 18 awards handed out at the MPG ceremony including Sir George Martin’s acceptance of The Outstanding Contribution to UK Music Award.  For further information go to
