Since its inception The BRIT Awards has donated £30 million pounds to the BRIT Trust. The money is collected and distributed by the music industry’s charity body, The BRIT Trust.
Established by the UK recorded music industry in 1989. The BRIT Trust's mission is to improve lives through the power of music and creative arts.
Donations are then made to a wide variety of charities and a great many community projects have received grants. The BRIT Trust is also committed to supporting Nordoff & Robbins Music Therapy and The BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology.
